After 25 years in retail, I know just how hard it is to build something from the ground up. I started with a single shop and, through years of effort, built a chain of seven successful retail stores. But throughout that journey, one problem never went away:
Getting the word out to the people who matter.
I tried everything:
It was inefficient and frustrating. I knew there had to be a better way.
So I created LOAF — Chesterfield’s Monthly Slice of Savings. A vibrant, local magazine that promotes real offers from real businesses, delivered straight into the hands of 40,000 households every month.
LOAF was built from my experience — and from the belief that our local economy deserves better. It’s more than a magazine — it’s a movement to put attention (and money) back where it belongs: on the local high streets, shop owners, and independents that give our town its identity.
